With Easter just a little over a month away, now is as good a time as any to start stocking up on Easter candy. Actually, it might be the best time. Because, in addition to Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups with Spring Sprinkles, Kit Kat Bunnies, and Lindt’s Lindor Carrot Cake Truffles on shelves, Mars Wrigley’s Easter selections are rolling out now.

This year, you’ll see the M&M’s Easter Sundae flavor and pastel blend back again, along with Twix Eggs. But what we’re most excited about is the seasonal offering from Snickers.

Snickers Brings Back Snickers Eggs

Following the success of Snickers Trees during the 2024 holiday season, and in the spirit of Easter, Snickers is resurrecting yet another iconic shape: Snickers Eggs. Much like Snickers Trees, the new egg-shaped candy features an updated recipe that showcases “more of the good stuff”—aka the caramel, roasted peanuts, and nougat filling you know and love.

That’s right, Snickers gave its iconic candy the Reese’s shapes treatment, offering even more filling encased in a thin layer of milk chocolate. I love Reese’s shapes for their higher filling-to-chocolate ratio, so it came as no surprise that I quickly fell in love with Snickers shapes, too. After trying the Snickers Trees during the holiday season, it’s safe to say that they beat a regular Snickers by a mile, and I’m sure Snickers Eggs will do the same.

The new-and-improved Snickers Eggs will be available in single packs, a share size with two eggs, and 6-packs at retailers nationwide. The reformulated candy has already begun rolling out to stores now, where it will be available for a limited time—definitely through Easter, and, hopefully they’ll stay on shelves for a little longer after the spring holiday, too.

While I haven’t gotten my hands on the Snickers Eggs just yet, the package photo looks similar to the one of Snickers Trees with gooey caramel dotted with peanuts oozing out of the chocolate shell. Based on the packaging alone, I think the Snickers Eggs will be just as tasty as the seasonal Christmas shape.

Now that I can restock on the extra caramel-, peanut-, and nougat-filled Snickers shapes, I won’t have to scour the grocery store clearance aisle for any leftover Snickers Trees. But, no promises that I won’t clear the shelf the second I see the Easter candy in stores.
