The new Cajun Crunch Chicken Sandwich starts with a seasoned chicken filet and a slice of melty Pepper Jack cheese. Crispy fried onions bring the “crunch” factor, while the spicy Cajun mustard sauce adds just the right amount of heat. Finally, it’s rounded out with classic toppings like pickles and lettuce.
Fans are already eager to get their hands on it, with one commenting, “That sandwich sounds great—I’d go for it.” Others say it reminds them of the 4-Alarm Chicken Sandwich they’ve missed from years past. So even if Wendy’s chicken sandwich offerings haven’t been on your radar, we think this new menu item is well worth your consideration.

But the Cajun Crunch Chicken Sandwich isn’t the only new arrival. Wendy’s is also rolling out a refreshing new drink: the Tangerine Twist Lemonade. With its bright orange hue, it looks almost like an orange soda—but don’t be fooled. This lemonade delivers a tart, citrusy punch that fans “testify” is absolutely delicious.
“That lemonade is giving orangeade vibes. Will be buying 14 of them,” one fan joked. Another said it “needs to be added permanently” to the menu.
Between the brand-new chicken sandwich, the lemonade, and Wendy’s recent release of six new Frosty flavors, the chain is easily reeling us into the drive-thru this spring. As one Instagram commenter put it: “Wendy’s is a siren temptress calling my name!!!!!”
