If you’re like me, once the weather heats up, I’m all about enjoying my ice cream. Whether making a massive hot fudge sundae at home or going out for a waffle cone stuffed with my favorite flavor of the week, ice cream in the summer is an absolute must.
But sometimes, smaller can be better, like when that afternoon craving kicks in. When I need a little something to tide me over, I like to have something in my freezer—and Dove ice cream always does the trick. Sure, this is the brand known for Dove Chocolate, but it also gets it right with frozen treats. Even chefs buy Dove.
Now, Dove is offering two new ice cream flavors, and I can’t wait to stock up my freezer. Even better: The first box could be free!

Dove Releases New Ice Cream Minis Variety Packs
Dove recently added two new flavors to its Dove Ice Cream Minis bar lineup: mocha and strawberry. The new flavors are coated in Dove Chocolate, and unlike the signature Dove Bars, these mini bars are the perfect little bite of ice cream for a quick pick-me-up treat.
The new flavors join an existing lineup of vanilla and chocolate varieties and are only available in select 10-packs paired with vanilla Dove Ice Cream Minis. Dove Vanilla and Strawberry Coated Mini Ice Cream Bars feature a milk chocolate coating, and Dove Vanilla and Mocha Coated Mini Ice Cream Bars feature a dark chocolate coating.
Fans of Dove Ice Cream Minis can’t wait to indulge in these new flavors and took to the brand’s Instagram account to say just how “dreamy” they look, with several folks excited about the strawberry and chocolate combo.
One fan on Instagram, @dawnsreviews, tried the strawberry bar and said that it was the perfect treat. “The strawberry looks a bit like vanilla and is more natural without the coloring,” they commented. “It has tiny bits of strawberry with a light strawberry flavor.”
To celebrate these new flavors, Dove is collaborating with influencers such as Dudette with Sign to launch its #MiniWinMonday campaign to celebrate all of our small, everyday wins. And there’s even a chance to score a free box of ice cream bars.
From May 19-22 (or until supplies last), fans can share their own mini victory on social media using #MiniWinMonday before making their way to Dove’s website to grab a coupon for a free box of Dove Ice Cream Minis.
However, you don't have to post on social to try these new bars. Both variety packs are now available at major retailers nationwide, such as Target and Kroger, for around $6. I’ll be grabbing a few boxes to enjoy all summer long.
