The reviewers were spot on. I’m not a huge sugar fan, but after tasting one of these delicious cookies, I found myself going back for another—and another—until I’d eaten five. What’s so good about them? These chewy, soft-baked cookies aren’t too sweet and have a distinct pastry-like flavor to them. Like actual cinnamon buns, they’d be delicious with morning coffee or afternoon tea, and each little bite has just enough cheesecake icing chips in it without the flavor being overpowering.
Like all Chips Ahoy Chewy varieties, the cookies are perfectly soft, like they’re fresh from the oven. And, as another reviewer said, they have the “perfect amount of cinnamon flavor … it’s like white [chocolate] macadamia meets cinnamon bun.”
