We’ve seen Subway make some pretty big changes to its menu, like when it added new Cheesy Garlic Steak and Spicy Nacho Chicken sandwiches, Cali Caprese signature wraps, and Pepporni & Cheese Footlong Dippers to the mix—along with the extra-flavorful Baja Bliss collection and Doritos Footlong Nachos most recently.
However, its most recent change tops just about everything we’ve ever witnessed, including when the Oreo Footlong Cookie came along. And that’s because this change directly affects our wallets. But this limited-time promo won’t be around for long. Here’s how to enjoy it while you can.
Subway Is Bringing Back Its $6.99 Footlong Deal
May 1 marks the return of Subway’s beloved promotional deal: $6.99 for any Footlong. You read that right. Any Footlong of your choice, back again after a successful run in February, and last summer before that. This means you can enjoy one of the classic items, such as the Meatball Marinara or a Cold Cut Combo, along with one of the dozens of chef-crafted subs in the Subway Series (hello, Garlic Roast Beef and All-Pro Sweet Onion Teriyaki). This deal also counts toward those subs customized to your liking.

Typically, a 12-inch sub costs $10 and up, so nabbing one for less than $7 can surely help ease the pain we’re feeling in our wallets, especially when it seems just about everything is costing us more money these days.

Like when it released $2 Subway Sidekicks with both sweet and savory options or when the sandwich company launched its $3 Footlong Dippers with 11 different dipping sauces. While we’re still waiting for the return of the $5 Footlong (and its catchy jingle), at least this is a start.
