Key Takeaways

  • Coffee mate is releasing two Dirty Soda-inspired creamers in collaboration with Dr Pepper and Orange Crush.
  • The limited-edition summer flavors are designed to be mixed with soda, not coffee.
  • The creamers launch this month and will be available at Albertsons, Target, and Kroger.

New sodas are hitting the shelves for summer faster than we can keep up. From major brands to smaller names, tropical soda to grape, we’ll definitely be spoiled for choice when it comes to bubbly sips this season. But amidst all the newness, we’re also seeing a nostalgic favorite make a comeback.

Remember Dirty Soda? The indulgent, internet-famous drink that took off thanks to “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” and had us all in a grip for months (arguably still does)? Well, Coffee mate certainly didn’t forget—and it’s reviving the craze in not one, but two ways for summer 2025.

Coffee Mate Has 2 Dirty Soda Creamers on Shelves

This summer, Coffee mate is celebrating the season of soda by rolling out two Dirty Soda creamers, created in partnership with a couple of soda aisle staples: Dr Pepper and Orange Crush.

First up is the returning tropical-style creamer made to mix with Dr Pepper. Inspired by the coconut and lime-spiked Dr Pepper trend (popularized by Sonic and Swig Soda Shop), the Coconut Lime creamer is designed to enhance all of the 23 flavors packed into a can of DP. The coconut-lime combo might be a little too punchy for your morning coffee, but it’s a perfect pairing for the sweet, fruit-forward cola.

Next up is also a familiar flavor, but now with a new twist. Last year’s limited-edition Orange Cream Pop creamer was meant for coffee, and although only available for two days, it definitely made an impression. Now, the nostalgic flavor is back, but this time it’s meant to be added to one of our favorite orange sodas: Orange Crush. We didn’t get a chance to snag a bottle last summer, but something tells us this version will be much better suited for a fizzy soda than a steaming cup of coffee.

If the reception to last year’s Dr Pepper soda creamer is anything to go by, this launch is going to be big. On one post, fans raved, “I love it so much!” and “On behalf of UTAH… Thank you!!”

One Reddit user wrote: “Poured into a glass over ice and added a shot of the creamer. I could drink 30 of them if my body could handle it!”

But that first soda creamer was also notoriously difficult to find. The same post was filled with disappointed comments from people who never managed to get their hands on it. “I cannot find it ANYWHERE, I’m so sad,” one wrote. Another added, “Put a zillion miles on my car searching for this to no avail.”

So if you were one of those Dirty Soda diehards on the hunt, we’ve got the info you need to actually score a bottle this time. Both Dirty Soda creamers will hit shelves May 1 in the refrigerated section. They’ll launch first at Albertsons in May, then roll out to Target and Kroger in June. Both flavors will arrive in 28-ounce bottles, priced at $4.49

Will Dirty Soda be the drink of summer 2025? With Coffee mate’s new launch—and a growing lineup of exciting soda creations—we think Dirty Soda could earn a spot as a summer classic, right alongside Arnold Palmers and strawberry wine.
