If there’s one thing about the McDonald’s menu, it’s stacked with dozens of delicious items to choose from. Between the breakfast, lunch, sweet treat, and McValue menus, Mickey D’s has every hour of the day covered. And, with breakfast sandwiches, burgers, chicken nuggets and sandwiches, the Filet-O-Fish, and fries, there’s always something for everyone at the Golden Arches.
Now, McDonald’s is adding a little something special for gamers and movie lovers alike. Following the success of its popular entertainment-driven meals, like the As Featured In Meal, The Angel Reese Special Meal, and countless Happy Meals, Mickey D’s is releasing a new one in partnership with “A Minecraft Movie.”
McDonald's New "A Minecraft Movie" Meal
The new “A Minecraft Movie” meal is inspired by both the incredibly popular video game, which debuted in 2011, and the new movie starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black, which premieres in theaters on April 4. So, beginning April 1, McDonald’s customers can order both the “A Minecraft Movie” meal and “A Minecraft Movie” Happy Meal for a limited time.

The meal features your choice of a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, and a drink, while the Happy Meal is available in its standard options. Both the “A Minecraft Movie” meals will include one of 12 movie-inspired figurines or Block World toys, plus a scannable code to unlock an exclusive digital game on happymeal.com.
Additionally, McDonald’s “A Minecraft Movie” Chicken McNuggets meal will include a brand-new, limited-edition Nether Flame Sauce, which is a spicy sauce made with red pepper, cayenne, and garlic. You’ll also be able to order the Nether Flame Sauce on the side of any of your go-to McDonald’s meals.
The collectibles available in the “A Minecraft Movie” Meal include Minecraft block and pixel-inspired McDonald’s favorites, like the Big Mac Crystal, Birdie Wings, Fry Helmet, Grimace Egg, Soda Potion, and Zombie Hamburgular. Each collectible will include a matching code that lets you redeem the corresponding skin in the Minecraft Marketplace.
Lastly, any “A Minecraft Movie” Meal that’s ordered through the McDonald’s app will give customers a free in-game bonus. With each in-app purchase, fans will receive a redeemable code for the McDonald’s Add-On Pack in Minecraft, which features new McDonaldland characters, builds, and tools.
With all the exclusive McDonald’s perks, it might just be worth fighting off Creepers to get your “A Minecraft Movie” Meal while you can.
