Growing up in the ‘90s and early ‘00s meant that we were all snacking on Scooby-Doo fruit snacks, slurping down Danimals Smoothies, and begging our parents for the ham and cheese Lunchables. It was also punctuated by pitchers and pitchers of Crystal Light lemonade.
No matter what function I went to, Crystal Light Lemonade—or, if I was lucky, Pink Lemonade—was a staple. Our pantry was always stocked with Crystal Light packets. Now, as an adult, I can absolutely understand why.
Crystal Light is a low-cal way to enjoy so many tasty beverages. After the brand added three new lines in 2024, it goes well beyond lemonade and tea.
During the past year, Kraft Heinz gave the beverage brand a makeover, updating the logo and introducing Mixology, Immunity, and Energy products. That release was the first expansion for Crystal Light in more than 10 years. In 2025, the brand is expanding again, but it might not be what you’d expect: It is stepping out of beverage packets and into ready-to-drink with its new line of Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers.
Crystal Light Releases New Vodka Refreshers
Spiked seltzers like White Claw, High Noon, and Truly as well as beverage-infused canned cocktails like Simply Spiked and Fresca Mixed have been on the rise for years. Since Crystal Light says one in five people already use its powdered beverage as a mixer, the brand decided to make it easy for consumers and launch its own canned cocktail.

The new Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers are the lowest-calorie vodka refresher on the market, according to the brand, with only 77 calories, zero grams of sugar, and zero carbs. The fewer calories mean the alcohol content is lower, too, ringing in at 3.8 percent ABV—as compared to other 100-calorie seltzers, which typically range from 4.5 to 5 percent ABV.
The ready-to-drink canned cocktails will be available in Crystal Light’s fan-favorite Wild Strawberry and Lemonade flavors made with triple-filtered vodka and light carbonation.
Crystal Light’s new Vodka Refreshers are the first alcoholic beverages made by a powdered beverage brand, and also the first time Crystal Light has released ready-to-drink anything. The new canned cocktails will begin rolling out in March at select retailers in the Northeast. At first, Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers will be sold in a four-pack for $9.99, but the brand has plans to offer new flavors and multipacks in 2026.
From growing up with pitchers of Crystal Light lemonade to now drinking Crystal Light Lemonade Vodka Refreshers, I’ve truly come full circle.
