If you consider potato chips a sandwich filling—like Snoop Dogg, who likes to put BBQ chips in his fried bologna sandwiches—or can’t eat a sandwich without crisps on the side, you’re going to love the Lay’s chips that just returned to Sam’s Club shelves. The flavor isn’t brand new; it’s one of those “sometimes Lay’s makes it, and sometimes it doesn’t” varieties. But when it does offer up this limited-time release, fans snatch it up quickly.
We learned from Instagram’s snackolator that one of the four Lay’s flavors that returned last year is now at Sam’s Club once again, making it easy to grab a warehouse club-sized bag of them during your next trip to fill up your shopping cart. As for us, we’ll be building ourselves a great big sub sandwich to add these to.
Lay’s Fried Pickles With Ranch Chips Are Back for a Limited Time
Lay's
The 15-ounce bag of chips, with their tangy, creamy flavor and crispy texture, is perfect for eating on its own, enjoying as a lunchtime side, or, as already mentioned, stuffing in sandwiches. These chips are fair game for any sandwich that works with pickles and needs a crunch. Dill Ranch Chicken Wraps are a prime example. They’ll also upgrade a Ham and Egg Salad Sandwich or a Po’ Boy.
Sam’s Club shoppers say, “The chips have a great flavor, pickle on the front end and ranch on the back end. Pairs great with a sub or anything you want to pair it with,” and that they’re the “Best chips I’ve had in a while.” One reviewer even gave this brilliant tip: “We took the last bit and breaded chicken for dinner and it was very tasty!”
As with most seasonal or limited-edition snacks at Sam’s, you never know how long they’ll be available. So, if you’re excited about pickle ranch-flavored chips, stock up while you can.
