In just over a month, it will be spring. (If you live somewhere with temps in the freezing zone, it might be hard to imagine, but it’s true!) The imminent season shift means it’s time to plan for spring holidays and brighten up your home’s decor, so you might want to take a walk down the Aldi Finds aisle this week.

Even though there are still several more weeks of winter, there’s a home goods item at the retailer we think will be gone before spring begins: a centerpiece bowl that’s a lookalike of a much pricier Crate & Barrel piece. (We actually like Aldi's version better, shh!)

Kirkton House Ceramic Scalloped Pedestal Bowl

You might be familiar with the Aldi brand Crofton Cookware, an in-house label for kitchenware and tableware inspired by some of the most popular home stores. Under it, Aldi produces serving dishes rivaling Pottery Barn, glassware that could pass as a Williams Sonoma purchase, and Dutch ovens for those who don’t have the budget for Le Creuset.

But Aldi has another in-house label, Kirkton House, that produces linens, towels, and decor, like this white Ceramic Scalloped Pedestal Bowl. This bowl is on sale this week for just $12.99, and it looks very similar to one sold at Crate & Barrel for $149.95. The gorgeous centerpiece belongs on a spring table setting.

We're picturing so many ways to style it. Fill it with flowers, citrus, or Easter eggs. Place a battery-operated candle inside, surrounded by silk greenery. Make a fake bird's nest out of twigs and add some bright blue eggs. Of course, you can also make it a functional piece and use it as an actual fruit bowl.

Crate & Barrel’s French Kitchen Marble White Scalloped Serving Bowl is similar but different: It does not have a pedestal, and honestly, we find that addition by Kirkton House elevates it (both literally and aesthetically). Plus, the price difference is so significant that it makes choosing between the two a no-brainer.

As you probably know by now, Aldi Finds show up on Wednesdays and are on sale for just one week, or while supplies last. This pretty pedestal bowl will reach stores on Feb. 19. If you want to give your kitchen a little refresh, we recommend heading to Aldi ASAP because we think this bargain will sell out quickly.
