Cracker Barrel offers Southern comfort food at its best. Nothing is more welcoming than a hot plate of fried chicken or turkey and dressing served with a heaping pile of mashed potatoes and flaky buttermilk biscuits. Except maybe the chain’s peach cobbler for dessert or all-day breakfast with that irresistible hash brown casserole. We’re drooling just thinking about it all.

Just when you think Cracker Barrel’s menu can’t get any cozier, it adds new items like the Fried Apple French Toast Bake and DIY Hot Chocolate Bar we enjoyed all holiday long. Lucky for us, we don’t have to wait for next year to chow down on something new from Cracker Barrel, thanks to its latest spring menu available right now.

Cracker Barrel Launches 9 New Menu Items for Spring

It may not feel like spring out there just yet, but it’s feeling pretty fresh inside Cracker Barrel with the new spring menu, offering a mix of sweet and savory items that satisfy all the cravings of the season.

Those hankering for something decadent for breakfast might want to try the new Oreo Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes, made with fluffy buttery pancakes and layered with cheesecake filling, then topped with chunks of Oreo cookies. Complete this dessert-inspired plate with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Similar to the fan-favorite Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes (topped with powdered sugar and strawberry syrup), the new Oreo version also comes with two eggs and a choice of bacon or smoked sausage.

Maybe you prefer to keep your flapjacks a little more old-fashioned with perhaps just one topping. The new Signature Pancake Platters might be more your speed, with a choice of six different flavor toppings: Blueberry, Pecan, Chocolate Chip, Fresh Strawberry, Cinnamon Spiced Apples, and Country Peach. Since this is a platter, it also comes with eggs your way and bacon or sausage.

Speaking of all the savory things, hungry eaters can feast on two new shrimp dishes recently introduced, including the Louisiana-Style Shrimp Skillet. This dish features grilled shrimp cooked in a Creole-style sauce served over rice with grilled Parmesan bread and a choice of a side, like a loaded baked potato or hash brown casserole tots.

Next is the Shrimp n’ Grits, which has been added exclusively to the restaurant’s all-day breakfast menu for a limited time. The Southern dish is made with shrimp in a Creole-style sauce mixed with Andouille sausage and sweet onions served over grits with grilled Parmesan sourdough bread on the side.

That’s not all the Old Country Store is cookin’. The Onion Petals with Country Comeback Sauce features lightly battered fried onions and makes for a tasty appetizer for the table, while the Strawberry Icebox Pie, made with a creamy pie filling and graham cracker crust, is the perfect way to end a meal. Good luck sharing that.

Lastly, we can’t forget about the drinks. This spring menu is all about the pancakes, and that includes a new Pancake Latte that can come hot or iced. Made with espresso, steamed milk, and a sweet maple flavor, it gives the illusion of devouring your favorite breakfast meal in drink form.

However, nothing says spring quite like a refreshing lemonade. The new Strawberry Peach Lemonade and Spritzer is that and then some, made with both a strawberry and peach purée. And if you’re in the mood to make brunch a little boozy, it can also include Moscato wine—because we can’t think of a better reason to celebrate than the end of winter.
