Chocolate bark always seems to peak around the holiday season, likely due to the ever-popular peppermint variety. And while Costco’s bakery has the peppermint bark market cornered and fans wait all year for Häagen-Dazs’ Peppermint Bark Ice Cream Bars to hit stores, I find myself asking: Why must the tasty treat be reserved for the holidays?
We chocolate bark fans don’t have too many options when it comes to year-round products. Hershey’s-owned Barkthins provides the biggest selection of bark candy—with Reese’s and Hershey’s releasing their own varieties this month—but at quite the steep price for a small bag.
That’s why I like to shop for chocolate bark at a big box store, like Costco or Sam’s Club. Luckily, Sam’s Club offers a Dark Chocolate Thins treat filled with almonds and sea salt all year long that can fulfill my sweet and salty cravings. And, now, its Member’s Mark private label just released a new chocolate bark snack that customers are already calling the “absolute best.”
Sam's Club's New Member's Mark White Chocolate Cookie Crunch Bark

Sam’s Club is selling its new Member’s Mark White Chocolate Cookie Crunch Bark for a limited time. The white chocolate bark features salty pretzels, Oreo-like chocolate cookie pieces, sea salt, and a dark chocolate drizzle for a rich, indulgent treat that you’ll want to eat by the bag.
“Club associates from across the country collaborated with the Member’s Mark brand to create the ultimate sweet treat,” the bag reads.
The smooth white chocolate filled with crunchy textural bites makes the Cookie Crunch Bark perfect to enjoy on its own or crumbled into cookie recipes, served over ice cream, or used as a cake topper.
Sam’s White Chocolate Cookie Crunch Bark is available in a 20-ounce resealable bag for $9.98 for a limited time only, which already has fans lamenting.
“I love these,” one reviewer writes. “I wish it wasn’t limited time.”
“I saw this item in stores and thought I'd give it a try and I'm so glad I did. The mix of sweet & a hint of salt is awesome. It’s not too rich and has a nice crunch,” another writes.
I tried the candy bark and it deserves all the hype it’s receiving. It tastes like the cookies and cream chocolate bars you know and love, but with a hint of saltiness from the pretzels.
I can guarantee I’ll be buying another bag—or two, or three—before it leaves shelves and I suggest you do the same since there’s no telling just how long the Cookie Crunch Bark will be available.
