Whether you’re a loyal Sam’s Club member or a Costco shopper, you know one of the best parts about the big box stores is getting deals on bulk items. Second to saving money on groceries, another perk of the members only stores is the trip to the food court or café after a shopping trip.

No matter if you opt for Sam’s hot dog and soda combo and a sweet sundae or Costco’s famous pizza and chicken bake, grabbing some prepared food is the perfect way to end a shopping spree.

Costco’s food court menu is pretty robust, with new items being added frequently, while Sam’s Club’s menu is quite simple. Sam’s sells hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, pizza pretzels, and three sundae varieties, along with an assortment of “Grab & Go” drinks.

While Sam’s Café might not offer the same sandwiches, salads, and desserts as Costco, it seems that might be about to change.

Sam's Club Introduces New Grab & Go Products

Sam’s Club recently added new prepared items to its Grab & Go section that allow you to enjoy Sam’s Club deli and bakery favorites without having to buy in bulk.

The Grab & Go case near Sam’s Café now offers smaller portions of its grocery favorites, including salads, pasta salads, sandwiches, and cakes, according to a video posted by @samsclubmembers on Instagram.

Sam’s Grab & Go section has traditionally only held bottled drinks and a selection of its sushi offerings. Now, the video shows Sam’s is selling its Chicken Salad Croissant, Caesar Salad, Cobb Salad, Mediterranean Pasta Salad, and Tuxedo Bar Cake Slice in grab-and-go smaller portions. The offerings each contain one to two servings of products at a fraction of what their larger counterparts cost.

Sam’s $16.98 Tuxedo Cake feeds eight to 10 people, but if you just want a sweet treat on your way out the door, the single slice for just $3.17 will curb that craving. If you don’t need five Chicken Salad Croissants (priced at $14.20 per tray), you can buy a single sandwich for lunch for just $2.74.

Additionally, because these items can be found in the Grab & Go section—and aren’t sold from the café—they’re eligible for Sam’s Scan & Go platform. That means you can simply scan the item using your Sam’s Club app, like any other Sam’s product, add it to your cart, and pay directly on the app. So, you don’t even have to stop at the checkout or café on way out to enjoy a quick meal from Sam’s.

It’s not clear if every Sam’s Club location will sell the same products in the Grab & Go case—or if they’ll be sold on some kind of rotating menu—but we’ll be checking the section frequently until we find out.
