For those unfamiliar, the Texas-based creamery serves 23 states, mainly in the South and Midwest regions. Blue Bell offers a variety of permanent flavors, including classics like vanilla ice cream and Cookies ‘n Cream, and also has a range of seasonal options that fans wait all year for, such as Christmas Cookies and Peppermint Bark.
There’s no denying that the folks at Blue Bell know how to create true-to-name flavors. Its Oatmeal Cream Pie ice cream tastes exactly like the Little Debbie snack cake that inspired it, and Blue Bell’s Tin Roof ice cream hits all the right notes.
Now, a new flavor of Blue Bell ice cream is hitting shelves and you’re going to want to stock up because it won’t stick around for long.
Blue Bell Introduces Strawberry Toaster Pastry Ice Cream
Blue Bell just announced the launch of a new breakfast-inspired flavor. Blue Bell Strawberry Toaster Pastry Ice Cream is now rolling out to select retailers nationwide. The Pop-Tarts-inspired frozen treat features the brand’s creamy vanilla ice cream loaded with bite-sized pieces of crumbled strawberry toaster pastry and confetti sprinkles. Ribbons of strawberry sauce and white icing swirl around the pint offering vibrant fruity taste in every spoonful.
Blue Bell teased the new flavor in a recent Instagram post, revealing the full details of the launch the next day. “Strawberry Toaster Pastry is now available in the pint-size, but only for a limited time.” the brand captioned.
Fans quickly headed to the comment section to share their thoughts. “Omg. I’ve been mixing my Pop-Tarts in with Blue Bell for YEARS. Can’t wait to try this!” exclaimed one excited fan. Another rushed to the store in hopes of finding the new flavor: “I just went [and] got some…after further review—best ice cream ever.”
Ice Cream for Breakfast Day
This launch comes ahead of Ice Cream for Breakfast Day on Feb. 1, where fans are given the official go-ahead to indulge in the creamy frozen treat first thing in the morning. If you aren’t in one of the states where Blue Bell is sold, don’t worry, you can order pints online or celebrate with a homemade breakfast-themed scoop.
Coffee lovers, you can transform your daily brew into coffee ice cream or simply use this as an excuse to enjoy an early morning affogato. Those who enjoy fruity flavors can whip up a batch of three-ingredient banana ice cream or opt for a protein-filled vanilla or strawberry frozen yogurt. Alternatively, you could just mash up a Pop-Tart and mix it into store-bought vanilla ice cream. However, you choose to celebrate, just don’t forget the waffle cone!
Blue Bell Strawberry Toaster Pastry Ice Cream is listed on the website as a rotational flavor, meaning it won’t last long. So, be sure to stop by the freezer aisle and grab a pint (or two!) before they disappear.
