We tried out a lot of products in 2024. Some of our best purchases included a Ninja air fryer we fell in love with, a plastic cutting board which still gets used every day, and a cast iron skillet that’s worth the splurge, and that’s without getting into all our taste tests. It’s always fun to look back at the end of the year on what worked and what didn’t. (Yes, there are many products we tested and didn’t like.)

But we don’t want to only chat about our favorites. We reached out to the Allrecipes Allstars, our trusty team of expert home cooks, to find out what kitchen products they absolutely loved in 2024. From the chopper you saw all over social media to a classic way to organize your refrigerator, here are the products that made our Allstars have more fun in the kitchen.

Our Allstar-Loved Favorite Products of 2024

  • Fullstar Vegetable Chopper, $25 with coupon (was $30)
  • Lodge 5-Quart Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Dual Handles, $48
  • KitchenAid Go Cordless Hand Mixer, $80 (was $100)
  • Keurig K-Iced Coffee Maker, $69 (was $100)
  • Cambom Rotary Cheese Grater, $37

Fullstar Vegetable Chopper

Amazon

$30
$25 at Amazon

You might’ve wanted to impulse buy the Fullstar Vegetable Chopper after seeing it all over social media this year, but it’s one purchase Allstar Maura Rawlette doesn’t regret. “It is so nice to have everything chopped up so fast,” she says. “I can use it for making salads, salsa, or a quick stir-fry. All of it goes in one container and you can change up the chopping size. I use the little grid for mushrooms and onions.”

Lodge 5-Quart Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Dual Handles

Amazon

$48 at Amazon

Allstar LaDonna Langwell baked more bread than ever this year, turning to a Lodge bare cast iron Dutch oven for those perfect loaves. The 5-quart version is perfect for creating a beautiful boule, but, of course, it can be used for so much more like beef stews and chicken dinners. Lodge seasons its bare cast iron cookware so it’s ready to use when you open the box, and it’s simple to keep it seasoned.

KitchenAid Go Cordless Hand Mixer

Amazon

$100
$80 at Amazon

It’s easy for Allstar Ashley Berger to come up with her favorite kitchen buy this year. “Kitchenaid Cordless Mixer!!!” she exclaims. “Seriously. How did I live my life without this gadget?!” We thoroughly enjoyed another KitchenAid cordless hand mixer during our tests, and agree that a hand mixer is an essential tool in any kitchen.

Keurig K-Iced Coffee Maker

Target

$100
$69 at Amazon

Allstar Kristen Flowers was in a coffee state of mind when asked about her favorite 2024 kitchen purchase. She bought this new Keurig iced-coffee maker, which is keeping her refreshed and caffeinated all day long, but then she found out about this amazing Pampered Chef coffee machine that can use whatever pods you have on hand. Needless to say, she wishes she had both on her counter.

Cambom Rotary Cheese Grater

Amazon

$37 at Amazon

This hand-crank rotary cheese grater has handled a lot of prep work in Allstar Lorraine Rector’s kitchen this year. “I love how easy it is to grate cheese, as well as shred carrots and slice thin slices of potatoes,” she says. The five blades can help you shred, slice, and crush, and huge chunks of cheese are able to fit in the extra-large chute.

OXO Good Grips 2-in-1 Citrus Juicer

Amazon

$17 at Amazon

The OXO 2-in-1 citrus juicer, which can easily handle lemons, limes, and oranges, is a favorite of Allstar Robin Justice. “It has an attached cup with measurements on it, which is all kinds of handier than my previous method,” she says. The two reamers snap into the 1.5-cup base for juicing and nest together for storage. (Ed. note: This is also my favorite purchase of the year.)

Elechomes Lazy Susan Turntable Organizers

Amazon

$23 at Amazon

A new refrigerator with deep shelves caused some issues in Allstar Pat Bernitt’s kitchen. “I’m short, and I could barely reach the back of the top shelf,” she says. So she turned to a tried-and-true method of organizing your fridge: a lazy Susan. “This turntable rotates 360 degrees and holds all the small bottles and jars that often get lost,” Pat says. “Everything on that turntable is easily accessible. Love it!”

Senbowe 2-Piece Silicone Bread Sling for Dutch Oven

Amazon

$9
$6 at Amazon

LaDonna Langwell has another great bread-making product. Instead of going through roll after roll of parchment paper to help her lift her bread out of a hot Dutch oven, she picked up this set of silicone bread slings and never looked back. These thick, nonstick slings will fit any 4- to 8-quart Dutch oven, are easy to store, and are even dishwasher-safe.

Yotan Electric French Fry Cutter

Amazon

$100
$90 at Amazon

Making fresh French fries is a top reason why Allstar Sarah Stone calls this electric fry cutter “a wonderful addition to my kitchen,” but it’s not the only reason. “Not only can I use potatoes, but I can ‘French fry’ carrots and easily dice onions and most any other tubular vegetables,” she says. “I’ve even used it to create cheese sticks.” Yum!
