Veeva is looking for an experienced Translation QA Manager for our Vault applications. You will work closely with APJ Product Team and US Teams to ensure that our products have the highest level of quality translations in Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean. With the Dalian QA Team, the Translation QA Manager will work with our translation vendor to manage the overall quality of our product translations including UI and documentation. The Translation QA Manager will be responsible for recommending the necessary translation software and best practices for maintaining translation memories/dictionaries/libraries. What You’ll Do Lead the QA of Vault application translations for CJK languages. Work closely with Product Management, HQ Localization team, and translation vendor to deliver competent translations. Build out scalable strategies and processes to ensure translations are reviewed and context-driven Make recommendations for translation software to utilize and help maintain translation dictionaries/libraries/memories. Understand Veeva Vault roadmaps and identify process and tooling needed to review and deliver new or updated translations. Define clear success metrics for the team. Manage a team in a fast-paced customer-focused organization. Track translation changes and ensure translations are uniform across corresponding documentation. Requirements 3+ years of work experience in people management 5+ years of experience in software localization, translation, QA testing, or Linguistic QA management Understand the intricacies of the CJK languages as well as regional customer expectations and needs. Have deep knowledge of various translation software tools. Create and Drive Veeva translation quality best practices When necessary, meet and discuss with customers Veeva’s translation methodologies and strategies. Localization thought leadership: track record of managing localization processes to deliver on localization-related projects to clients/stakeholders through innovation and continuous improvement Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with high attention to detail Time Management Skills, Analytical skills Nice to Have Experience within the Life Sciences industry is a huge plus Fluency in either Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean is a huge plus Perks & Benefits Allocations for continuous learning & development Health & wellness programs Veeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
