The Services Engagement Manager (SEM) is responsible for the scoping, selling, and overseeing of Veeva R&D and Quality implementation projects. Successful scoping and planning phases are critical to ensure the right implementation strategy for our Vault implementations. The SEM is an integral part of the sales cycle, acting as a solution expert and coordinating closely with the Sales Team (selling the application licenses) and Delivery Team.
Utilizing their own regulated content management experience and Veeva product knowledge, the SEM will structure the right implementation solution, set the right expectations, and define the appropriate effort (e.g. costs, project timeline, staffing). Delivery of Proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) are key deliverables from the SEM. What You’ll Do Engage with prospects to understand their implementation needs and set expectations correctly with a focus on long-term success Define the right Implementation Proposals and Statement of Works in line with the customer needs and Veeva’s best practices Position other Veeva Service offers (e.g. Support, Training) that may be needed for a successful customer experience Work closely with the Services (delivery) Leads to manage the pipeline of opportunities and staffing needs accordingly Travel estimate: less than 25% (within China) Requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English 5+ years of experience delivering consulting services, including some level of involvement in selling services Ability to engage audiences of varying perception levels (IT and Business) Team player attitude (team-based objectives) 4-year degree required Ability to travel Candidate must be based in Shanghai and have the legal right to work Nice to Have Direct Life Sciences experience, preferably within the clinical, quality, or submissions space Content management experience or experience with Quality document management, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Clinical or eCTD submissions and related technologies (TrackWise, Documentum, etc.) Experience with Cloud-based solution deployment and agile methodologies Experience in a regulated industry Perks & Benefits Allocations for continuous learning & development Fitness Reimbursements Veeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
