The Role
Join Veeva as we modernize software across Events Management. Lead the Events Services team with Veeva Systems, you will be building the Veeva Events Services team by developing strong services teams and interfacing with customers to design and lead software enterprise and SMB implementation programs.  This team partners with our Veeva Digital Events team to provide technical services and with our customers to implement one of Veeva’s newest products – Veeva Events Management    The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative Veeva culture. You will design our Events Services team by defining and following best practices, developing innovative implementation materials and toolsets, recruiting new team members, leading technical support services for Veeva Digital Events, and mentoring team members to new career achievements.  You will demonstrate your ability to work in a global and cross-functional team environment with Life Sciences customers.    This is an ideal role for someone who is eager to focus on bringing disruptive technology for successful Events Management to our customers in Life Sciences. This role will allow you to lead a new Services team, not only building the team of delivery consultants but innovating globally on Services roles and offerings that meet the industry’s specific needs.   Opportunities are available across the United States for this role; this is a remote position.  There is no work location requirement if a candidate is in close proximity to an airport and able to meet travel requirements. What You’ll Do Establish an Events Services team that implements Events software for customers and provides technical services to the internal logistics team Build and lead a team of 12 consultants and internal service team members Define a baseline template and project approach for implementing Veeva Events Provide executive oversight and project sponsorship to new Events programs Partner with internal Events logistics team to deliver comprehensive Events Management services to customers Develop trusted executive relationships with customers Develop a plan and approach to migrate customers off Veeva legacy technology to Veeva Events Lead team of consultants in managing migration projects Build an internal network across Veeva – Sales, Strategy, Product, Services, VDE Requirements 8+ years of software implementation experience in a regulated industry: 5+ years in a consulting/professional services environment & 3+ years in a professional services leadership position Has grown and led a professional services team of at least 10 people Direct experience leading and managing team(s) through change Experience managing or supporting an internal Services team Ability to travel up to 25% of the time Nice to Have Direct experience selling and managing both small and large-scale implementation programs  Ability and willingness to “roll up one’s sleeves” and take on any Services role Veeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
