We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Overall Job Purpose: The Alzheimer’s lead role is responsible for developing and executing the NE Hub Alzheimer’s strategy; influencing policy and system readiness for disease modifying treatments and  leading the integration and delivery of marketing, medical, PRA, public affairs, and other components as needed.The focus will be to establish and refine a clear value proposition for the upcoming Alzheimer’s treatments that must be relevant and motivating to patients, payers, and prescribers.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning:Influence and drive system readinessResponsible for developing and aligning the integrated internal and external Alzheimer’s readiness strategy, working with all relevant functions to accelerate the delivery of innovation to patients, with a clear understanding and interpreting the external environmentBased on a Global with Local approach, develop insights-based strategies and plans that create exceptional customer experiences that lead to the achievement of business objectives and results.Includes review, assessment and solutions related to treatment pathways and patient flow from diagnosis to treatment, in order to understand and overcome external barriers to launch and positioning Lilly as an innovative partner to the NHS.Customer Relationship Management:Strategic lead and point contact for peers and team members across relevant functions, owning creation and evolution of a robust strategy to optimize customer relationships including thought leaders/KOLs, professional groups, advocacy groups and public sectors(ef NIHR, Senior NHS leaders).Primary contact point for global and IBU teams for Alzheimer’s and represent affiliate needs for global/BU teamsExternal Policy Engagement:Partner with Government Affairs and PRA to establish the external engagement strategy to influence national dementia policy, treatment pathway and diagnosis routes and shape the external environment for launch.Connect and build relationships with key Alzheimer’s leaders and advocates in the UK.Marketing Communications:Localising core messaging, moments of truth (MOTs), and other strategic marketing related areas, through a deep understanding of the patient journey and key customer insights Develop the Customer Touchpoint Journey, with the goal to optimise the customer engagement opportunities (touchpoints) through an omnichannel approach.Internal Communication and Engagement:Lead liaison with global and international Alzheimer’s teams and other key internal stakeholders, leading internal launch readiness process and employee education and engagement on dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.Operation and Execution:Responsible for annual customer and business planning; accountable for timelines/milestones and for executing an operational plan that aligns with the strategy.This role requires full understanding, appreciation and adherence to the highly regulated pharmaceutical environment, including but not limited to current MHRA and international regulations, laws, guidance, codes of practice, Lilly policies, standards and other corporate legal obligationsMinimum ExperienceSignificant and extensive health sector experienceExperience within Alzheimer’s disease areaEvidence of working with Thought Leaders and strong customer relationshipsDemonstrated leadershipEssential SkillsLeadershipStrategic thinkingCustomer FocusStrong interpersonal & communication skillsCross-functional workingProject Management skillsEli Lilly and Company, Lilly USA, LLC and our wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively “Lilly”) are committed to help individuals with disabilities to participate in the workforce and ensure equal opportunity to compete for jobs.
