The LCCI LMI Commercial Learning Services team consists of a dedicated group of learning professionals responsible for sustaining and advancing Lilly’s Marketing and Sales capabilities. This team partners with Indy-based learning professionals to design, develop, implement and evaluate learning content. This position reports to the Senior Director of LCCI Commercial Services and dotted line reporting to the Associate Vice President, LMI Learning and Development.Key Objectives/Deliverables:Leadership/SupervisionLeads a team of group leads, content developers, multi-media specialists, editors, and medical writers.Responsible for employee lifecycle management (e.g, recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, career development, annual compensation reviews)Embraces Lilly’s culture, organizational structure, roles and practices, including strong knowledge of how team fits into bigger picture of the US Affiliate as well as the broader Lilly organization.Knows and reinforces Lilly’s learning strategy, design and development processes, content development tools and resources.Thinks as a “partner” in the business and ensures that team delivers on expectations (on time, high quality, business value, risk mitigation, cost optimization and return on investment).Partners to ensure capacity and workload management can meet business demands.Enhances the capabilities of the team through effective recruiting, training, coaching and development.Demonstrates knowledge of systems, software, tools and supervisor resources.Exhibits knowledge of healthcare environment and regulated industry practices.Has a thorough understanding of Lilly’s Quality processes and must be capable of understanding and applying these processes and requirements when executing their role.Support evaluation of new technologies, techniques, and tools.Partners with LMI Commercial Learning Services leadership team to evolve organization and relationships with Indy-based team.Ensures quality, speed, value and compliance throughout the content development process:Follows basic project management principles when leading projectsIdentifies improvement opportunities and remove barriersManages capacity plan and resourcingAdvocate initiatives for continuous improvement and ideas for positive disruptionChampions and holds team accountable for Lilly policies and proceduresDemonstrates ability to partner effectively across functions by cultivating a strong network of cross-functional colleaguesFacilitates shared learning forums to identify challenges and establish best practices across the teamCoach, manage and develop a team of creative problem solvers:Able to coach a coachIdentifies, recruit and select top talentCoaches and develops team learning and development competence and experience in managing the careers of learning professionalsLives the Lilly Values, #TEAMLilly Principles: Connect with People, Be Determined and Drive Continuous ImprovementEmbraces and champions change and innovationDemonstrates ability to handle and appropriately escalate when issues ariseUses situational leadership to adapt leadership style for each individualMonitors employee engagement and team healthManages new-hire onboarding processUtilizes Workday process to operationalize organizational goals for team membersUtilizes Lilly Coaching FrameworkPartners with direct reports to create individual development plan/action plan by identifying appropriate training needs for people mangers and individual contributorsServes as trusted career advisor, and works with HR to identify career opportunities as appropriateConducts effective one-on-one coaching sessions using the Lilly coaching framework by encouraging two-way dialogue and open feedback, listening actively, being flexible, and identifying knowledge, skill and performance gaps.Eli Lilly and Company, Lilly USA, LLC and our wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively “Lilly”) are committed to help individuals with disabilities to participate in the workforce and ensure equal opportunity to compete for jobs.
