This involves comprehensive analysis of and influence over the credit management process and related decision making.Be seen as a “go-to” information & guidance resource for O2C AR credit management queriesBe a natural “go-to” person for the AR team to learn from & accordingly provide support to the AR Senior Manager by assuming front line technical AR queries from the team & AffiliatesLead AR team members on credit management process enhancements and implementation with a focus on the communication around the related changeEnsure excellence across the key deliverables from the AR team – Monthly Aged Debt reviews & Quarterly Credit Committee data.Review key metrics & communicate to stakeholders to ensure KPIs are being met whilst identifying and implementing initiatives to improveSupport global/regional O2C projects with influence on enhanced credit managementSupport the overall O2C AR team by demonstrating flexibility in providing cover for team members and training of new team membersPersonal Attributes Ability to handle complexity and utilize analytical skills, with attention to detailAbility to proactively & effectively analyse & resolve problemsAbility to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverablesAbility to respond flexibly and empathetically to customer needs, managing their expectations effectivelyAbility to work in global team environment and communicate effectively with both internal business partners of all levels & disciplines as well as external Business Process Outsource org team membersSystems Experience with SAP O2C ModuleExperience in Business Warehouse or Business Objects, MS Excel, Word and PowerPointQualifications 5 years’ experience in O2C or Finance function with in-depth knowledge of credit management & customer service as well as process enhancement in a multinational environmentDegree in Business and/or Accounting (or equivalent work experience)Fluency in English & any additional European language preferableThe GBS focuses on the following foundational pillars across the full organisation to ensure a solid and consistent approach to running our businessComplianceDemonstrate a strong compliance oriented mindset & help to build a strong compliance cultureFamiliarise with all applicable process documentation & training materials to ensure you operate in a fully compliant manner & mentor the AR Analysts and Associates to maximise complianceEnsure ownership for all applicable Sox & Operational controls for your areaPeopleActively work with the core team members, internal customers/business partners, and LSP team members to build effective working relationshipsCoaching and mentoring the O2C AR Analysts and AssociatesCustomerDemonstrate excellence in all interactions with our GBS internal customers & business partnersFocus on measuring & improving our internal customer’s experience with the GBSBuild and maintain a strong knowledge of Lilly’s product lines within the marketContinuous ImprovementDemonstrate a strong Continuous Improvement oriented approach & help to build a strong Continuous Improvement cultureActively work with the core team members & Global O2C team to drive improvements for processesAdditional Information *Travel Percentage – Up to 10% international travel may be requiredNote: When applying internally for a position your current supervisor receives notification that you have applied to the position.
