Lilly recognizes the need to be present with customers in the digital environment with personalized, meaningful engagements.The Global Digital Engagement IT team is globally focused and effectively building solutions / capabilities for Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Medical organizations globally. The team owns social media, search and tagging technologies, as well as the Customer Experience Hub (CEH) personalization technology strategy and capability.
Position Overview:The Associate Director IDS – Personalization Technical Lead will drive several priority initiatives across the Customer Experience Hub personalization portfolio. The role will own IT technical strategy, execution and operations for personalization technology initiatives across the Customer Experience organization as well as responsibility for managing the current and advancing the future personalization technology capabilities. Holistically, this individual will be connected to the broader, connected Marketing organization, working across teams including but not limited to: Enterprise Website team (EWI), Consumer Startup (Consumer Personalization), Analytics, Social Media, SEO, SEM and Enterprise Personalization.Responsibilities:Lead all technical execution for personalization implementation across channels and oversee development teamsProvide technical recommendations on how to best leverage personalization technologies to accomplish current and future business needsEvaluate technical risks and provide recommendations with trade-offsCreate and maintain a playbook for this newly created capabilityPartner with architect and CSQA to ensure validation strategy is comprehensivePartner with the GPO to ensure solutions are privacy-safe and forward thinkingIdentify gaps, processes and strategy to support the growth of the CEH personalization technology capabilityUsing technical background, connect business strategy, design knowledge, and customer needs to develop and maintain a portfolio of personalization technology solutions that are relevant, feasible, and valuableDefine, communicate, and uphold the Customer Experience Hub Personalization technology strategyWork across key digital channels to ensure cohesiveness of technology solutionsBuild scalable global processes and operations for personalization technology work within the Customer Experience HubBasic Requirements:Bachelors Degree5+ years in an IT organizationExperience leading large cross-functional projectsExperience working across multiple customer groupsUnderstanding of key consumer marketing channels and business areasExperience scaling a pilot or capability across an organizationBasic understanding of the US Digital Privacy landscapeQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Technical Skills:Experience implementing/overseeing implementation of Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Audience Manager or similar technologies within a large enterpriseExperience building technical personalization use cases using Adobe Target or similar technologiesTechnical understanding of AEP or similar technologiesExperience overseeing or contributing to CDP implementation within a large enterprise, AEP preferred Additional Skills/Preferences:Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, constantly evolving environmentExperience working with social, search and web analytics technologiesExperience leading with Agile FrameworkExperience with vendor managementAbility to understand business requirements and effectively translate business needs and process into technical terms, and vice versa.Proactive mindset that can solve issues and involve stakeholders as needed(Search, social, website)Strong learning agilityStrong verbal and written communications skills with high attention to detailHave strong self-management skills and ability to work in ambiguity
