Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, if you want to make life better for people around the world, you belong at Lilly.POSITION PURPOSEReporting to the Finance Director, the individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of both strategic and operational aspects of planning, forecasting and actual tracking for Sales and OPEX, on a monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad-hoc basis. This will be focused on ANZ but also consolidate, drive and lead the overall financial planning and forecasting process across the North Asia Pacific Hub.Locally, role is also responsible for leading a team on stock management based on Sales trend/needs and support communications with manufacturing site as well as local stakeholders. They will play a key role on partnering with each business stakeholder and find out business opportunity and/or risk and propose the change of resource allocations. The individual will report to the Finance Director and will operate with cross functionally teams and leaders.  KEY RESPONSIBILTIES & ACCOUNTABILTIES The role will have 5 individuals reporting to them: 2 planning/reporting and 3 supply chain.Help CFO to lead/coordinate and consolidate the forecast and budget processes, including strategic and business plan exercises, for both ANZ and across the Hub countries.Monitor monthly regional financial results and present effective presentation to illustrate the variance on resultsPartner and drive the processes with affiliate leadership teams on long-range strategic business plans, customer plans and market forecasts.Coordinate and own the efforts with affiliate CFOs to design financial and commercial contingency plans across the Hub to ensure continued profitability.Supply chain and inventory management; coordinate with overseas (communication and influence with manufacturing sites) and domestic stakeholders to ensure proper inventory level.Simulate inventory level for stock shortage and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external logistic service provider to manage distribution plan. Safety stock/ SQQ review.Support month-end closing activities, account reconciliation and GUI reconciliation.Work with external vendor to manage logistical process. Lead regular performance review of external logistic service provider.Coordinate and implement accounting/finance related projects.All matters relating to stock/ samples management and distributionAnnual stock counts [with external auditors]Manage conversion of trade to samplesManage short expiry stocks; work with marketing to deplete to minimize write-offManaging good forecast discussion with cross-functional teamEnsure availability of stocks for product launch or promotional eventsAlert sales and marketing on out-of-stock situations and propose corrective actionsManage the Order-to-Cash cycle.
