Not only do we deliver breakthrough medications, but you also can count on us to develop creative solutions to support communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.Responsibilities  The Associate Director, Lilly International and Manufacturing & Quality Communications will be responsible for driving an internal communications strategy for the Lilly International and Manufacturing & Quality organizations.  An experienced communicator with internal communications expertise, strong communications counselling skills and experience navigating the complexity of a highly matrixed, global company, the Associate Director, Lilly International and M&Q Communications will partner closely with colleagues within Enterprise Communications and across the function to deliver on our Communications objectives.  Key objectives and deliverables   Advance the IBU and M&Q strategic communications plan in support of the business objectives and in alignment with the overall Global Communications strategy and priorities. Plan, execute and measure internal messaging across all affiliates, businesses and departments.  Provide strategic communications counsel to senior leaders and business partners regarding effective communications practices (LillyNow, Yammer, emails, video scripts, key messages, executive presentations/talking points and other written materials).  Create clear and consistent internal communications, creative multimedia content and compelling storytelling packages that reinforce Lilly’s corporative narrative and values.  Co-create content strategy for M&Q and IBU audiences to create a strong and compelling suite of internal channels to enable employees to maintain focus on top business priorities.  Maintain editorial calendar in coordination across the global communications team to ensure all content, including executive leadership speaking opportunities, is delivered at the right time to the right audience.  Lead and regularly manage partnership with affiliate communicators and M&Q site communicators to coordinate consistent communications across IBU and M&Q. Partner with global communications colleagues and other business partners on urgent, time-sensitive communications, including IBU and M&Q media inquiries. Leverage data and analytics to inform and adjust strategy and implementation.  Basic qualifications  Bachelor’s degree or higher in journalism, communications, public relations or related field. A minimum of 5 years of communication experience at either an agency or in-house organizationQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position. Additional Skills/Preferences  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize and shape complex information into clear, concise, compelling communications. Proven expertise in developing communication strategies and detailed implementation plans that drive results.
