As part of our Talent Acquisition team, you will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers and play an integral part in shaping Lilly’s future by identifying and attracting diverse talent to the company. This role will be an extremely instrumental part of the sourcing and recruiting efforts of diverse underrepresented populations.The Diversity Talent Scout will function as a search and subject matter expert, responsible for working with recruiters and hiring managers to locate and attract diverse talent to Lilly through lead generation, expert sourcing strategies and the ability to research the employment market for a given functional focus.  Other activities include:Builds and maintains positive relationships within multicultural-based organizations.Attending relevant career fairs to attract diverse talent, brand Lilly and develop new sources within the Latino community both local and nationalOutreach to local and national diversity associations and organizations for active and passive referrals.Working as a liaison with the Organization of Latinos at Lilly and other Employee Resource Groups to improve employee referrals, sourcing, and inclusion of diverse employees in the recruiting process.Sourcing diverse candidates utilizing Linked IN, job boards, niche websites, internet searches, CRM system and other passive candidate generation techniques.Providing and utilizing labor market intelligence and recruitment trends to improve diversity sourcing.Leveraging social media to attract diverse talent and brand LillyManaging key vendors of sourcing.Meeting and exceeding annual, monthly, and diversity sourcing objectives to include, but not limited to, leads, contacts, candidates, diversity metrics and hires.Proficient in utilizing technologies to track all leads, contacts, candidates, etc. and leverages systems to continuously build talent pool.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree2-4 years of relevant recruiting and/or sourcing experienceQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.Preferences:Experience recruiting and sourcing R&D TalentBi-lingual/Fluent in SpanishSome knowledge and insights on the local Latino community with established networks.High level of self initiative with the ability to work with minimal supervision.Strong time management skills with attention to detailMust possess a disciplined work style with the ability to show comparable urgency with proactive work as with deadline-driven workWilling and able to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities while demonstrating flexibility and resilienceSourcing experience including internet research, search engines, boolean search strings, and data mining. Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skillsExcellent analytical skills and organizational skillsExperience with social media/networkingComfortable with the time investment in proactive strategic relationship building effortsAdditional Information: Travel as required, approximately 10-25%The Role is based in IndianapolisThis position is not permanent.
