We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Nordics Portfolio Brand Leader – OncologyLocation – Any Lilly Affiliate office in the Nordics -Reporting to General Manager As the leader of a highly engaged team, the Oncology portfolio Brand Leader is accountable for leading the commercialization of the Oncology Portfolio across the Nordic affiliates (Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark) with people leader responsibilities for the brand teams in these countries.This individual will be responsible for closely partnering with several functions including UK & IE Brand leaders, PRA, Medical, Sales, MCE, Regulatory, Finance, E&C, Legal, Corporate Affairs, to deliver strategic objectives for the Portfolio in the Nordics. This role will maximise the value that portfolio can bring to our target patient, to HCPs and to Lilly, through building a collaborative Team Lilly culture of trust, empowerment and accountability.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and People ManagementLead, coach & manage a high performing and diverse teamModel leadership, and Team Lilly behaviors expectations- Include, Innovative, Accelerate & DeliverConnect with people, build trust, motivate, develop, retain and empower peopleEstablish and effectively communicate clear goals, objectives, priorities and Blue Chips for the teamIn partnership with Brand Managers and CMO, build marketing capabilities across the team in line with the Hub and Lilly capability roadmap. Elevate standards and expectationsLead with, and ensure adherence to, integrity and compliance in all that we doDemonstrate and own positive, cross-functional partnershipDemonstrate collaborative leadership with the UK & ROI Brand Leaders to develop and align the Nordics Brand strategy with the NE Hub Brand Strategy & Global Brand StrategyLead the execution of the brand strategies with strong governanceFoster innovation and drive continuous improvement within the brand by adapting to/collaborating with other people managers/leading change and demonstrating resilience and ‘can do’-attitudeSeek commonalities and opportunities for synergy across the Hub, to help reduce volume of work and maximise efficiencies.Brand strategy development and brand management:Based on a Global with Local approach, develop insights-based marketing strategies and plans that create exceptional customer experiences that lead to the achievement of business objectives and results. This includes responsibility for:Overall portfolio sales performance and budget (OPEX)Making prioritization and trade-off decisions in order to maximize the commercial potential of the portfolio in partnership with key stakeholdersIf relevant localising core messaging and moments of truth (MOTs), through a deep understanding of the patient journey and key customer insights in partnership with local country brand managersMaximise the utilisation of the IBU content factory & best and ensure the Brand Team is utilising ready-made tactics and solutions from Global and the IBU in line with a ‘Create Once, Maximise Reuse’-mindset, especially for IVA, email, 3rd SOA and eP2P.Lead the local development of Customer Plan, Operational Plan, Customer Solutions & Tactics. Ensure that the team uploads these solutions & tactics as campaigns with touchpoints into the Campaign Engagement Tool (CET).Leverage analytics where possible to adapt and to predict evolving customer needs so that each individual customer receives the right message through the right channel at the right timePartner with PRA team to align and execute on the brand access strategy – partner with local brand managers to implementIn close collaboration with cross-functional partners build forecasts for the brands with clear, robust assumptions, which will inform the Business Plan ProcessEnsure execution excellence of Customer and Operational Plans by tracking progress systematicallyData/insights driven and accountable for the Portfolio Health DashboardUnderstand and anticipate the implication of changing market/competitive dynamics and adjust course in a timely and assertive manner if necessaryLead the Launch Readiness process for the any new product/indication launches in the Nordics portfolio to ensure a launch successThought Leader Engagement (TLE) and Endorsement Oversee and approve the Thought Leader strategy in partnership with key stakeholders, including medicalEngage actively with key Thought Leaders (Regional, National and International), to build long-term business relationship, to uncover mutual opportunities of strategic partnerships, and to drive Thought Leader endorsement for our target patient strategyResponsible for oversight of marketing advisory boards and speaker training.Support and engagement with Field-Based PersonnelBuild trust with the sales team(s) to foster a collaborative working relationshipProvide oversight of brand strategy and goals for sales meetingsAccompanying on (virtual) field rides to understand sales professional, HCP and patient experienceAccountable for an effective Customer Dialogue Model (CDM) team to ensure an agile feedback loop is in place between the customer facing team and Marketing/Medical for continuous improvement/innovative solutions that meet customers’ needs around our target patient strategyRisk Management & ComplianceAccountable for understanding, implementation, and adherence to company policies, processes and external obligations including local pharma code(s) and Red BookAccountable for team compliance to PMAP process with only fully approved and certified materials in use and timely withdrawal of all expired materials for the portfolioResponsible for regular governance and review of the portfolio Brand Team activities and compliance findings.Work collaboratively with E&C or the policy/procedure subject matter expert to explore the root causes of compliance findings and to put in place corrective, and embed preventative, actions in the Oncology and Biomedicines brand teamsLI-MA1Eli Lilly and Company, Lilly USA, LLC and our wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively “Lilly”) are committed to help individuals with disabilities to participate in the workforce and ensure equal opportunity to compete for jobs.
