This key role is an integral part of Lilly Kinsale’s digital agenda, as it continues on its journey of Industry 4.0 transformation. The successful candidate will be to forefront of this effort as the site integrates enabling technologies into its production facilities. The role is multifaceted and the candidate will be expected to act as a project leader or project team member during the implementation of new digital solutions and also supporting existing systems and helping the business to get maximum value from them. S/he is expected to develop an understanding of the business and thereby help the organisation to make the most effective use of IT systems. The information and digital solutions professional is part of the IDS team

Responsibilities:Communicating with business partner/owner to identify opportunities for improvement in systems/processes.Translate business needs into functional requirements.Deliver / Implement digital solutions that facilitate business needs.Developing project proposals, schedules and resource needs.Stay abreast of emerging technologies, latest technology standards and implications to existing systems.Support IT systems and assist business in achieving maximum value from them.Resolving system problems using data analysis and problem-solving skills.Data analysis using knowledge of databases tools.Implementing system / platform upgrades.Providing system enhancements.Ensuring ongoing compliance with Lilly Quality Standards and Practices (e.g., Change Management, Periodic Reviews, etc.).Promoting use of system functionality to improve work processes.Representing the site at corporate groups.Sharing knowledge to the corporation globally.Developing a ‘network’ of corporate contacts and resources.Leveraging corporate expertise when needed.Interacting with external parties (e.g., vendors, consortiums).Provide troubleshooting/help to others in the IT department when necessary.Ensuring validated systems are implemented.Coordinating internal and external systems resources.Budgetary management.Provide accurate time and resource estimates for all assigned tasks.Participate in and report at team meetings.Participate in and support site audits.Develop and maintain system SOPsBasic Requirements:3-5 years’ experience delivering and supporting IT systems /platforms.Pharma experience and knowledge of GMP, CSV and data integrity requirementsDemonstrated learning agility both technically as well as business processes and applicationsDemonstrated initiative to build relationships, learn new business processes and identify opportunitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsActive listening and leadership skills

Additional Skills/Preferences:Project management experienceKnowledge of Industry 4.0 and IOT technologyFamiliar with Agile methodologiesKnowledge of infrastructure platforms and ISA S95 architecture / standardITIL training / certificationKnowledge of data visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, JMP, BO etcSQL knowledge an advantage
