We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Purpose:The Associate Director – Design Hub (DH) – Patient & Site Experience (PSE) is responsible for leading the strategy for a variety of aspects within our clinical programs which may include site training, patient enrollment (recruitment & retention), and/or patient & researcher engagement (insights, education, and feedback). The Associate Director will have assigned area(s) of focus within the DH PSE team (Training, Study Participation, CoDesign, and/or Digital Communications & Engagement). This role is responsible for delivering in alignment with clinical and functional counterparts to incorporate different strategies to gain efficiencies and speed. Primary Responsibilities: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the job requirements at the time it was prepared. Consult with your supervision regarding your actual job responsibilities and any related duties that may be required for the position.Deliver strategy for clinical programs where the voice of the patient and researchers are representedThe Associate Director will:lead the creation of the strategy for the assigned area(s) of focus of site training, patient enrollment (recruitment & retention), and/or patient & researcher engagement (insights, education, and feedback).partner with appropriate Clinical Design Delivery & Analytics (CDDA) functions to determine the best strategic direction for each clinical program.facilitate the creation of the appropriate deliverables (e.g., training, educational materials) with the functional content owners and/or vendors.understand specific capabilities and access points for key platforms and systems that should be built into the strategy for each clinical program based upon the assigned area(s) of focusEnsure continuous improvement by understanding the external needs and challenges of patients and researchers in addition to the internal needs and challenges of our clinical programsThe Associate Director will: contribute to a culture of partnership and shared learning across the DH and broader CDDA to identify best practices and standardized approaches to processes.  work closely with DH PSE team members to continue to evolve internal standards, processes, tools, and best practices.  continuously assess and evaluate evolving business partner needs that could be addressed by process improvements, standardization, or automation.Contribute to a team culture that is valued for strategic and technical leadershipThe Associate Director will: provide strategic and technical leadership to ensure that processes for the assigned area(s) of focus are well integrated within the appropriate CDDA functionsapply strategic and technical expertise to deliver right-sized strategies that can be successfully implemented in our clinical programs.  Minimum Qualification Requirements:Bachelors Degree in scientific or health related field or equivalentMinimum of 5 years experience in pharmaceutical industryOther Information/Additional Preferences:Broad understanding of the pharmaceutical drug/device development processProven ability to lead, influence, and deliver to timelinesDemonstrated strategic and critical thinking skillsStrong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and negotiation skillsPrior experience in managing complex/cross-functional projectsCork -based roleMinimal travel requiredEli Lilly and Company, Lilly USA, LLC and our wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively “Lilly”) are committed to help individuals with disabilities to participate in the workforce and ensure equal opportunity to compete for jobs.
